I have had about 8 of 18 games where this has happened where we actually win (would win and won).
Never ever has we had a DC when Alliance are leading. hmmmmmmmm

The one I don't get is when this happens. You are actively playing in a BG. No lag, low ping, good connection...you are engaging enemies and participating then suddenly you're DC'd and looking at your login screen. So you log in only to find out you're sitting in town with deserter. That one is frustrating because other times a DC still gives you the afk timer to get back into the game and rejoin the BG.

There is a certain macro out there that mages can use that causes targetted players to disconnect from the server. It exists on all private servers and it involves an error in the mangos code that causes a targeted user's connection to be terminated. Not many people know about it because not many people have been in the private server scene for very long (ive been in it since 2007).

I've never been able to try it out because no mage has given it to me. It remins a very well kept secret that few people know about, but I once had an undead mage do it to me for over an hour on this very server.

I'm guessing some mage did this to you out of spite.
