Pvp'ing with like minded ppl? Should I roll horde?

Sort of a whine post with an honest question.

I grow bored of this passive "oh no, sir, I'm not taking part on this pvp-nonsense" mentality on alliance side.
There are next to none pvp-oriented guilds (not counting Nope and and other such premade-only guilds). I only play this game for the glorious vanilla-pvp in it's all forms but my alliance comrades don't seem to share that love. Is the grass any greener on the other side? Should I just roll horde and get in on that bloodthirsty action? Or is it just as bad there?

DoubleTap is a PVP guild on alliance; most of the guild is PST but there are people across all time zones

You can easily made own prem, it's enough skilled ppl on alliance side.

Only doing premades is not taking advantage of all the forms of pvp. Not saying that you specifically think like this, but most alliance seems to view BG's only as a portway to gear and nothing else. And this manifests as "make a premade, farm honor". How about city-raids, small skirmishes or just plain killsquad action?

every faction does dumb stuff so please lad zzzz

and both factions have pvpers, you'll always find a few more on Horde but that's standard procedure and you don't need people to tell ya that but it's fine on alliance

I was only being partially serious. A lack of PVP minded players on Alliance could mean that the minority of PVP minded players that are there are relegated to camping STV and farming lowbies in Ashenvale because they can't get enough people together for more "serious" PVP. I think if anything it's a symptom of the problem OP is describing.

Just now it took over an hour to get 10 players to defend Redridge from lowlvl Horde, me included. Pathetic.
Alliance just doesn't care.
