I thought the backdoor was stupid and tried to convince people to go the normal route through SPGY and across turtle bridge in the handful of games I played last AV weekend, the biggest reason being that a failed back door penetration can get quite messy and usually results in a wipe and a lost game, and I mean a complete loss, with not even Balinda being down. It's for sure a strategy that can end games inside a half hour if it succeeds, but everyone who dies before aids station finishes capping gets dumped back in SHGY (best case scenario, assuming no one recapped it, which is insanely easy to do as one rogue due to the bugged lieutenant) and has to run back past all the sentinels and mountaineers and infinitely respawning elite lieutenants. It is a high risk:reward strategy for sure. Too high risk, in my opinion.
That doesn't change the fact that it's ``Blizzlike´´. Plenty of stupid crap in this game is ``Blizzlike´´. What I (and presumably OP) am frustrated about is the devs fixing a Blizzlike "problem" because of forum whiners while game-breaking and most definitely un-Blizzlike bugs go unfixed for months.
