Tittle basically.

I kind of vaguely remember not being able to see one gy to another in wsg on retail, but i probably had low video settings due to shit pc back then.

Here in WSG basically if you stand near tunnel entrance, you cant see people in either side running flag, or in AB if you stand at LM you cant see people at BS flag properly.

Obviously on retail you can see all WSG from gy even and whole BS from LM, but those are later expansions.

The view distance to other characters is lower due to the amount of people online since this is server-based.
The number of calculations needed increases by the square of the distance, so due to performance this is kept low.

yeah this shouldnt affect anybody in BG, the draw distance is still limited, in other words you don't have unlimited range sight (cant see the EFC all the way across middle in wsg) but it's nowhere near as limited as say... peak hour in westfall or the barrens.
