How to cancel auto attack after rocket helm?

I'm constantly having the problem of auto attacking my target by accident when i use Goblin rocket helmet on them. This is caused by inadvertently right clicking instead of left clicking on them which can be hard to stop sometimes when you're in the heat of battle. Is there any kind of macro so I can use my rocket helm on someone then cancel auto attack or switch to another target?

I opened a ticket on the bugtracker, haven't checked if they've given a reply on it.. but I take it it's not fixed yet?

press escape, or autotarget yourself.

/script UseInventoryItem(1);
/script ClearTarget();
/script TargetLastTarget();
if you spam this too hard, you will still auto attack I think. Should be more reliable than just clicking the helm
/script UseInventoryItem(1);
/script ClearTarget();
nonspammable but should never auto attack

I think you're complicating, simply pressing 'esc' while charging does the job. not ideal but it just werks

I have it bound to G. You know what I mean.

Can be tough to hit esc fast enough if you're in melee range when you use helm
