I always felt Vanilla WoW never should have added battlegrounds. They could have kept the rank system, but made it only possible to rank up through World PvP. Solo kills providing vastly more exp.

I mean I know Nostalrius added the battlegrounds to make it more Blizzlike, but rank farming is just as absurd and mindnumbing as it was back in retail.

Apparently, Blizzard added battlegrounds to dissuade players from zerging in Hillsbrad Foothills. Battlegrounds probably hurt the game in the long run.

Dont like it - dont queue. There is tons of outdoor PvP on Nost. Leave BGs to those who enjoy them.

Probably dumbest post ever! Remove battlefields and u'll get all the pvp players outside making it harder on everyone else to grind and do stuff. Blackrock Mountain is already perma camped by one side or another. Without BGs it will be impossible to get in a dungeon without raid escort

BGs were introduced to keep the ranking players from disturbing leveling and farming players.

I support this. I love wpvp so yea. Would rather rank while fighting in multiple different places in world rather 2 limited and instanced battlegrounds.
