Firstly , many were wondering about whether this was bannable/illegal and I have spoken to numerous GMs and they have assured me everything will be fine

I do not intend to take any cuts here so 100% of the buy-ins will be going towards the prize pool

How to enter

ALLIANCE ONLY
Entry process is pretty straightforward - you reply to this post with your name,class and guild or otherwise just should show up at the Iceflow Lake in Dun Morogh at 8.45 PM ST Saturday the 6th (mandatory for everyone) .
Signups start at 8.45PM
Signups will be closed at 9.30PM

The gold will be Traded to Malconi and Malconi (Gnome Warlock <The Council>) ONLY

Make sure u bring 35g

Rules and banned items

-You may change your gear during any point
-Respeccing is allowed , howeer , leaving the tournament may result in disqualification due to tiiime constraints.
-Maximum wait time in between two duels once the opponents are chosen will be 5min
-Rogue vs rogue duels will be forced to roll for the opener if they cant find each other in 3mins


Permitted items :

-Spells your class has (self rez/LoH/&c)
-Class items (ankhs, rogue poisons)
-Drinks and food which don't buff you
-Bandages
-Mounts
-Anything your character can wear, with exceptions listed below.


Prohibited items and consumables that will result in disqualification
-Rocket Boots
-Rocket Helm
-Grenades
-Magic Dust
-Potions/Flasks/Elixirs/Jujus or any kind of consumable(that is not a spell)
-Foreign buffs (from other classes/quests/food/&c)
-Helpful Foreign debuffs (curse of recklessness)
Every unwearable item which isn't specially permitted is prohibited.


How the Tournament is gonna be carried out

Then the brackets will be developed,just like in a tennis tournament, some people might get a free round but all of this will be randomised and the opponents as well.

Its possible that is gonna be a draw of 32 ppl or 64

Every duel other than the finals is gonna be a best of 1,
The final is gonna be a best of 3

28-32 participants 1000g - 1120g 1st PLACE ONLY
32-42 participants 1120g - 1400g 1st PLACE ONLY
50 participants 1000g 1st PLACE..... 500g 2nd PLACE......250g 3rd PLACE

these rules have been copy pasted from previous duel tournaments that have been held on other private servers
-add the items you think should be removed from the ban list , however rocket helm rocket boots and grenades are fixed bans (only engineering trinkets are permitted , otherwise it would be way too huge of an imbalance)

I personally don't see that big of an issue with the rules tbh. Honestly, I think it's a great idea and takes a lot of time and work to get these kinda things set up and people should just enjoy the event win or lose...but I'm an optimistic fella and people will always shit on one thing or the next. No matter what you banned someone would have found a way to complain about it.

i dont know whats more retarded. not letting horde participate or banning engineering. ill be there to watch, tho.
