i know classes like warriors can be amazing at 60, but need to be fed epics in order to do it.

which class(es) can you get away with having less than perfect gear, but still be competitive, if you had to choose 1-2

in other words, which class is the least gear-dependent at 60?

Mage rogue

Hpala for healing (they dont heal for a ton without gear, but their utility is god no matter the gear)- but if you want big heals priest
Rogue or spriest for dmges
Mage/lock good cc but without gear youll probably get eaten easily

Hemo rogue, so much control
Frost mage, so much control

Rogue hands down, if u gona have bad gear u wana be invisible and able to chose if u wana fight or not

With bad gear i think the better choice is making a range dps, stay on the back of the group nuking+cc stuff and run if u get ''pvp agro'', mage is very good on doing that

Hunter is kind amazing in actual killing player even using shit gear, super range, instant shots=amazing on a big group where u can stay on the back nuking players, get top kb on av using dungeon blues

Worst thing i said is rolling a melee(not a rogue)+bad gear, u cant kill shit, cant run away, cant stay on the back safe nuking players, u prety much fucked

Paladin cuz spam and buffs > also tanks whole PvE content in greens so gg

I'd say hunter is good no matter what, viper sting doesn't scale with gear anyway and is one of the most powerful abilities in pvp, on top of this you can kite/cc very well and are hard to kill if you know what you're doing. With gear a hunter becomes also really tanky and does strong dps.

Hunters are pretty strong, just make sure you do it on alliance
