So, server use the pre 1.12 honor system for calculation.
Say I climb to rank 12 and buy gear then stop doing pvp for a bit and lose a few ranks. Can I still use the gear I got? Or do I need the rank to use it?

this is a good question and if some mods can answer that would be great.
i too have a question, since r14 weapons arent available yet, lets say you grind to r14 but then due to them not being released, you decay to rank10 for example, would you still be able to buy them or would you have to grind back up?

im sure alot of people are curious as to this also

Ofc. you can still use them on lower rank. The rank is required to buy an item, not to equip or use it.

Also the gear updates to the new stats automatically. On retail you had to GRIND AGAIN if you lost rank and wanted the updated weapons.

Except for the blue PvP set, it will not be updated as a new one will be released. The epic set as well as weapons will be updated. (The R14 ARE awailable, but just in a less powerful version as of now).
