what happened to free speech

Why was this post locked http://forum.nostalrius.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=35127 unlike most of the trash on this section of the forum it was well thought out, articulated and it raised some unanswered issues like what happened to the thread(s) containing evidence that the community worked together to get.

When it was locked they referred to Daemon/Viper's answer to the situation which didn't actually answer what the core of the thread was about.

So what was the thought process behind locking it or was it all just damage control?

I don't really care that much since I was already a foot half out the door with the constant lag and unplayable state of the server but I think the remaining people here should not accept this kind of behaviour.

There is no free speech:

E. Forum

Nostalrius Begins can't allow all kinds of discussion on the forum. The forum is here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss ideas, give game-play advice, role-play, and converse about any other aspect with other players. Community forums work best when participants treat their fellow users with respect, courtesy and common decency. Therefore, please be civilized when participating. Nostalrius staff needs to be able to read everything you post to ensure it abides by this agreement. Posts not in English are subject to deletion. Nostalrius staff reserves the right to delete, move or edit any post with or without warning nor explanation to the user. In extreme cases, Nostalrius staff may limit or block the forum access from a user.

You can thank the spammers and conspiracy theorists for the thread lock in that and all of the other cases. Viper's post actually did answer the original question in the thread: 22 accounts remained banned.
