Less rank than expected this week...

Greetings Nostalrius,

I have a quick question for the PvP Community Hordeside (PvP-Server):

Did anyone else get less rank than expected this week?

Last Week (Arathi Weekend) I 've managed to get from R9 80% to R10 50%, which less Honor than I 've farmed this week (Alterac Weekend). Still I only got to R10 87%, which is kinda strange, because normally the players farm much more honor on Arathi weekends than on Alterac weekends, which gives you less Rank for the same amount of honor.

I 've asked around my friends and some had the same experience.

So did anyone else get less rank than expected?

I m just curious, if this is a bigger phenomenon and if yes, what the reasons are...

It's not about how much honor you grinded. It's more complicated than that.

The ranking system is still just an estimate, your rank is calculated among all who have done PvP aswell, and remember there is a weekly honor point cap at 13000 (as i recall).

Exactly @Yve, I noticed a huge dip in rank ascension this week - considering I've consulted some friends in rising up from rank 7 - to rank 8 ; they all said upwards from 20% in the rank bar it'll take around 120k honour to go to rank 8 from 7

I was 18% into the bar and now only gained 60% = 78% after AV weekend as well which is particularly strange...

I'm very certain during AV weekend one does not get much honor and moreso reputation when compared to WSG and AB weekends
