Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi guys. I've heard a very mixed bag of feelings about PvP so far on this server. Premades avoiding other premades just to farm pubs, broken honor/ranking system (only heard), honor farming (only heard). Could I get some input from the community if it's worth trucking to 60 here to mainly PvP given the state of affairs?

If so which side is in more need of pug pvpers? I will mostly soloq unless I find a good group to premade with (and hopefully fight other premades not just farm pugs).

Its gonna be the exact same as it was in Vanilla. There will be premades people win trading etc anything to get the gear. Some of it will be public some of it will be private. Sometimes you're gonna stomp sometimes you're gonna get stomped. If you played vanilla and liked it, play. If you didn't play vanilla and you want a system with 0 problems i suggest avoiding any older game.

Also as far as horde vs alliance goes alot more people are on horde for pvp so imagine their queue times are longer but win rate will probably be higher / less likely to not fill a game.

The PvP is imbalanced, unfair, and glorious. The game is what it is, and you can have a fantastic time if you realise nobody's going to even it up for you.

For example, there's a level 60 shaman who's spent many days solid ganking north STV, possibly farming HKs for group members. Many skeletons and tears on the ground. Is anyone going to "fix" it so he can't? Nope. You work out how to play anyway and treat it as hardmode. Loving it, frankly.

make a couple solid friends that are active and love to pvp and go on rampages with them and youll have a blast

Sheep works fine I think and mages only use it to escape and run away or friendly mages sometimes even sheep you to get your health back in world PvP...But fear really needs some tweaking I don't think that ever breaks even after something stupid like 3/4 shadow bolts and dots ticking away.

if you like pvp then the journey to 60 isn't bad, play something OP whilst leveling like mage and you'll get like 500+ hks whilst leveling
