Hey guys, this is my first Warlock ever, and i'm 41 at the moment with 30/0/2, so i don't have Death Coil yet (and possibly other things that might be helpful in PvP).
I wanted to ask if what i'm doing is the best course of action against classes / roles:
General Melee routine:
If i have my succubus out i wll use Seduction, expecting them to use WotF (for undead) so they waste their CD.
Dot them up and run untill the WotF immune wears off.
Attempt fake casting Fear if they have an interrupt, if it's successful i would get some range and Immolate + start shadow bolt spam.
General Caster routine:
If i have my Felhunter out i'll interrupt damaging spells, because interrupt CD is much longer than purging magic debuffs on me (such as poly ) 30 seconds vs 8 seconds i believe.
Use curse of tongues and dot him up, then force him to waste interrupt by faking fear.
Rogues:
Same as general melee routine
Mages:
Same as general caster routine.
Other Warlocks:
Same as general caster routine, but i also attempt to banish his minion and use Shadow Ward.
Priests:
same as general caster routine, but i also use Shadow Ward, and purge his stamina buff and shield.
Shamans:
Pray that he isn't enhancement, if he is i'd hope i don't get crit much and do general melee routine.
Pretty much having trouble with this one.
I make sure to have all possible self buffs on me to make his purge take out Underwater Breathing or Detect Invisibility.
Warrior:
I usually get wrecked pretty hard by the famous Whirlwind Axe, and i try to do the general melee routine but if he has many crits i'd be dead.
Also having much trouble with this one.
Hunter:
Dot him up, and hug him as much as i can so he can't shoot me, trying to avoid a trap i don't get too close (Dead zone is 5 yards right?).
Not sure if i should Fear him or his pet, i usually go with the pet and let my dots finish him off.
Druid:
When ambushed by a cat i do the general melee routine.
If i see that he's playing defensive i might get a Curse of Tongues on him.
If he's healer / balance i'll do the general caster routine.
