Player distribution

Hi, I am new on this Server and Im looking forward to play PVP.
My Question is how is the player distribution? How long do you have to queue as Horde and as Alliance?
I do not want to wait for forever before getting into a BG.

Far more horde playing bg's. Which means much longer queues for horde than for alliance.

Also you know how many Players are online on average? Cannot find any info on that.

Peak hours (EU evening, USA afternoon) usually between 5 and 6k.

Off peak usually around 2600... That is doubling the alliance pop, as I use census+ to crawl the population on an hourly basis.
