Wildvine + fused wiring drop rates...

Hello,

Just pointing out that fused wiring drops quite regularly when an advanced training dummy was used, and it was only lootable by the owner of the dummy (and perhaps party).

Without this going to gnomeregan or pissing about in stv on 3 mobs with a single figure drop rate is the only way to farm these.

Wildvine should be farmable off trolls anywhere that wildvine spawn with stv mobs getting up to 7%, and the elites of hinterlands having an 8% chance of dropping one or more.

Yesterday I killed at least 100-150 doing some quests in hinter, and then grinding in stv and none dropped.

This is pretty broke and the reason wildvine is as expensive as it is on the ah.

If I recall correctly, Wildvine was notorious for being a bugged spawn/drop for a reeeeeeally long time. I don't think it actually got fixed until Cata, by which time it didn't actually matter anymore.

I don't know what I'm looking at, other than really low loot percentages.

He is correct that you recall wrong.

And what you were supposed to be looking at is all the drop rates from 1/20-1/12 kills.

That is not a 'low' drop rate. That is enough to see a piece every 5-10 kills...

Never played after cata... irrelevant. Wildvine dropped all over the show from troll mobs near wildvine in vanilla.

If the devs have your knowledge/understanding that is exactly why I posted.
