Hello Nostalrius community!

My IGN is Maugli. (Nelf Hunter)
I start this topic because i want to clear something about our community behavior and gameplay.
This post is for whole nost community and for dev's.

I want to tell you a short story. The story of 42y old player who want to resurect his vanilla hunter here in Nostalrius. My first character on retail vanilla was nelf hunter named Maugli (or Mowgly if you wish - the kid from jungle).

Here is my personal adventure untill today:
I resurect my old Maugli and i realy enjoed to level this toy. I usually dont have much time to play. Thats why when i ding 60 i start to gear up my character with bis. One day i was lucky to be invited in aliance guild <INSOMNIA>. The people there are mature and cool guys. So i am happy to play with them and one day i become <raider>. We starting to clear MC content a little after other pve guild on the server. But we have huge success and pritty nice progress. In 1 month we was abble to clear MC and Ony in sigle raid night. Soon we will get Neff head. And i dream of naxx... yes this is why i join Nostalrius. I want to go and deal with naxxramas disease.

So! Why i made this topic /Face your demons!/ ?

The thing is i am on hunter quests right now. I spend 2 weeks ago 150dkp for the leaf. I was able to take 3/4 demon heads. And last night its happened... something that i cant believe its real. Because is so stupid...
I was good prepared and when i got the demon to 4-5% a rogue open on me and cheap shot me. Demon got enraged and kill me. For many of you this might look as usual gank but is not.

Ask yourselves. Do you know where is the thin line between outdoor ganker and shithead player. The line is realy thin. When is fine to gank other faction players and when is not.

For exsample why is not propper to troll/gank hunters when they are on this quest.
- Delaying people who are on this qust mean you delay his/shes and guild/faction. but not only. you delay your faction and guild who have hunters on this quest.
- delay of guild PvE progress. we all must get prepared for BWL
- You might ask how this can delay whole guild.
- Nostalrius isnt EU, Asia or US only server. Nostalrius is worldwide server with high population. On single week we have minimum 5-10 new leafs / hunters who just start quest line. Thats mean no safe time zone to go and try the demons without to be ganked/trolled.
- Both demons in Winterspring and Burning Stepes have 7h respawn timer when its griefed.

I want to ask devs to get investigate this problem. If you want i can send screenshots and the name of griefers/gankers who ruined other peeople/hunters quest.

As people below ask me to do. Here is my suggestions:

1. Hunter who dont know how to deal with demons have 1 try. He move 2 or 3 positiions down if fail and demon isnt despawned. And if he fail and despawn demon he will be moved to bottom of the list.
2. Player who griefed demons will be investigated and if he act out of acceptable behavior he will get 1 month time bann. If he keep ruined other people gameplay he will get perma bann.
3. Hunter who have leaf have chance to done quests only if he sign on the list.
4. when hunter get into list he must sey what time zone he play and when is ok for him to try demons. if he isnt online the try go to next hunter in the list.
5. The devs cant realy deal with the problem nurfing despawning timer. I believe they only can ban players to solve that mess.

I suggest other people who have done the quest to make short guide for the new hunters. This will help a lot.

About my RP shitz and stuff. I wont delete what i share. That game is mmoRPG. Behind in game character are real people. Dont make this community toxic like other communities do. And last.. Its wrong to think that gold is main currency it the WoW vanilla. Its the players time what they spend to get things done. So ruined other people time in game must be punish with perma bann.

I will not say more on the case.

Will be great if i get reply from devs and other hunters who are on the quest line.
BS demon just despawned again in big mess... so new 7h for all people who tryed to complete the quest.

Do some math guys... 30hunters x 3h = 90h
thats mean if no despawns and grief of the demons we can still do it.
The problem is ppl who try to kill demon not well prepared. People who griefed. So if we deal with these 2 factors we can finish our jurney on that quest.

I will try to made short guide for BS demon. And this must be read from all new hunters who just come in to list.

And we need answer from devs. Do you guys agree to punish bad behavior of the griefers etc. ?

You can edit your original post to include any additional information you want others to see instead of triple posting back to back.

You can also edit out the roleplaying and unnecessary information so the devs don't waste their time reading 2-5 line breaks of words that don't support your suggestion.

Just put a bounty on them and hope that they'll be ganked so much that they have to leave the server.
They don't deserve a ban, it's ok if they kill you or attack the demon.

You got ganked on a pvp server while you were in a position that made it easy to gank you. Get over it. Bring some friends to watch the area to kill any would be gankers. The demons only enrage if another player ends up on its threat list.
