Dungeon and Raid Finder

Since it was my first content vanilla part of wow is precious for me.On the other hand it pushed players to edge by the lack of many things at that time;like random dungeon finder.Getting in a dungeon took some time but if someone left or dc ;well it was another half-hour wait.So i suggest a dungeon/raid finder tool which managable with simple commands.I used the system in a certain cata server and it makes the multiplayer part of the game much more accessible.Start a raid or dungeon, set your conditions and player who fullfils the conditions can join without whispering and once the raid is full you can teleport players to the entrance.Everyone wanted to raid or run dungeons back then but creating groups were an unintentional time-consuming part.I hope you guys could work around that blizzlike-mistake

Come then and do dungeons with me. I promise I won't quit :)

I even think that without the dungeon finder people are less likely going to quit because they carry responsibility for the success of the group. It's an adventure!

This isn't a good idea because that made the game what is today - dull. We want Vanilla feeling, pre-TBC. Not some expansion implementation.

Check out this post from Drain taken from the thread "Why does modern WoW suck?":

Drain wrote:His 2 other videos on "the grind" are more educational than that one for how WoW was ruined.

(The second one is after the first in my playlist)
He also has 2 videos on the dungeon finder, which with the teleport added, was one of the biggest things that ruined the game and is still in to this day.

Also, if you're willing to sit through his Wildstar podcast(over 1h long), he discusses a lot of issues with MMOs now, including WoW. He goes into such details as immersion being ruined(thanks to things like dungeon finder teleport), things being made too easy, leveling being too fast, and so on.

I agree with most of what he says with MMOs and WoW. I have a few other videos I collected over time, one of which has since been deleted it seems, but these 2 are still around. Watch if you like.

This will give you some insight, why most of us do not wish to have a dungeon finder.

/Edit: Also you might want to check out the whole thread I linked for generally more information.

I agree most of the argument towards dungeon-finder,but my point is ; this no retail so we wont have any population near to it had.If we could have 2k players online at raid hours it will be the heaven for us.Another point is; if someone did not have any pve problems during vanilla there was 2 options
a)member of a Hardcore Raiding Guild
b)Lies
i wasted too much time for a simple MC run trying to find members, replace bad/disconnected/afk players.Come on now,the first thing you experience (in general) leaves a mark on you which seems the only right option/thing to do until a better way emerges. Why dont we use the system while defining it again on the way and implement it if it will cause a better playing experience?

Vanilla wow was never meant for the super casual. dungeon/raid finder caters to the super casual.

If you compare World of Warcraft pre-tbc, to other mmo's that were big at the time like EverQuest - it was actually very casual.
