I like pvp but i also want to gain pvp ranks so i wont be doing any world pvp near enemy civs. Just sticking to areas with ally npc or no npc. Its the price to pay.

City raids offer a huge and welcome challenge to the game. Raid-wide DHKs for the mistake of a single member is simply a bad mechanic and IMHO should be fixed.

If you are anti-PvP just say so. Rather than defending a fubar mechanic. And please don't resort to the "well, Blizzlike" reasoning. Blizzard made a number of boneheaded decisions gameplay wise that could do with a bit or rethinking.

These days I see a lot of people complaining about this and that, and asking to change something, to make it different, bla bla ...

Guys, server staff promised that they will give us 1.12. Blizzlike server. And so did they. That's how it is. Stop complaining and asking for changes that were not in 1.12. With every little thing that they would make different, we would make 1 step away from blizzlike realm. And as the time passes we'll make more and more steps.

Can you just accept the 1.12 realm with all of it's features and play it like it's meant to be played?

I know the devs prefer sticking to 100% blizzlike, mostly because it's so hard to define the fine line between sticking to blizzlike and allowing conveinence-fixes. It's much easier to stick to 100% blizzlike because then there can be no discussion about what should and what should not be allowed.

I don't want to defend this fubar mechanic, because it is completely stupid and should be removed, but I can see where the devs are coming from if they refuse it. It's hard to say what can be passed as being 'fubar broken' and what cannot. If they remove DHKs the community will next demand something similar to be 'fixed', which will steadily deviate the server from blizzlike more and more.

That being said, this idea gets a +1 from me, please remove this utterly retarded mechanic. It serves no sane purpose, and no one should truly miss it if a patch 'accidently' breaks it.

DK ruined open pvp and town raiding completly and were one of some changes made to kill open pvp. I defenetly vote to disable them.

You easily can disable DK by changing the realmlist and never changing it back.

DK is there for a reason, so no high level cant farm low lvl areas and kill quest givers and low lvl all the time.
You want Ranking you cant gank.
You want to Raid the town, you need to sacrifice more for that Glory.
You want to be Gnomish Engineer, you cant get Goblin.
You want Paladin, you cant get Shaman.

Make choice and live with it.
Its a tough game.
