At first I thought that it was just being ridiculously heavily farmed. Then I look for black lotus on ah, found 15 total. Totally adjusted to the 3x higher pop than retail had back then

Well if they increase the spawn rates then people will start getting banned for industrial levels of farming. Right now not enough spawn to reach a bannable amount. The dev team is only looking out for us on this one.

'naaah better nerf the respawn rates' Nost 2015. or 'We want to have right economy so we get the most common herbs to prices like 40g' only place that actually is nice to herb in is AV, quite pathetic.

meanwhile... herb re-spawn rates still unusually long and dozens of herbalists are in desirable herb zones at any given time

They are going to use the PvE server as a way to organically reduce the population, which will not increase spawn rates but "may" increase the availability of herb nodes to players...

Hopefully the PvP server will get a smidgen of relief, once the PvE one goes live. Even with that, they may still need to take additional measures.

It won't be anywhere near enough. I don't see the main server losing any significant portion of the level 60 population to pve, most of the pve players will be lowbies and newcomers. Some of them will be there in the first couple of weeks to try it out and then straight back to pvp.
