Paultrouble wrote:Change " Pet attack speed are not correct. Certain pets (RAPTORS) have a 1.54 or below attack speed instead of 2.0 " to " rescript the whole attack speeds table" ( they are default mangos)
devs can use this http://web.archive.org/web/200611122305 ... speeds.php

Also, common mangos bug:
Boar charge's attack power bonus doesnt work.

if this is bugged, that also means Prowl damage bonus on first hit is bugged (both are usually bugged on private servers), tho i didnt check prowl yet

That list has already been submitted to the devs and a change is in the pipeline.

Don't cry for fixes without looking it up. Pet normalization was TBC.
quoteBroken Tooth was once considered the ultimate hunter pet mostly for his capabilities in PvP combat. He was sought after for his 1.0 attack speed, which was the quickest in the game. However, since pet speed normalization in patch 2.0.1 he has lost this ability and is no longer considered a pet to strive for.

The fixes people are crying for is correcting attack values.

Raptors should be using 2.0 attack speed on this server and 2.0 attack speed damage values.

They're using 1.54 attack speed (confirmed), and 2.0 attack speed damage values (from what I understand). Other pets suffer similar issues, but raptors are the most egregious offenders

The only pet normalization that is in effect in 1.12 is pursuit speed and maybe resistance removal.

It would be super cool if there was some sort of developer interaction in these kind of threads to just confirm that they have acknowledged atleast some of these issues and what they are working on.

Yep, there is absolutely zero communication coming out of the devs, all we ever see is an announcement thread every few days. I've wanted to make a thread about this issue myself, but I feel that you guys seriously need a community manager or something for a community of this size, for the purposes of letting your players know what's going on behind the scene. That's just the way it is in 2015, players are dependant on developer interaction to be kept happy, which is not happening enough here at the moment.

I've done a bit more research into the feral faerie fire issue.

I'm actually losing a talent point by putting it into that portion of the tree. The game gives me the ability to use, but the talent points dont register as a spent point in the tree window. I thought this wasn't necessarily a big deal until I realized that this didn't count towards my cumulative total of talent points spent into a tree.

So as it stands I have 26 points spent into feral, the game is only registering it as 25, and I'm having to spend 26 total talent points to move into the tier of abilities that require 25 talents spent.

Gief talent point back pls.

Playing Feral: 2 huge bugs probably already posted but validating it.

Feral FF doesn't show up (even when you have it) in talent tree causing Ferals to lose a talent point basically at max level.

Mages and Hunters randomly make me start walking when attacking me even though I have toggle auto walk off.

Warlock

Pet behavior in defensive mode is not quite working as it did on retail. When a pet is in defensive mode, it should begin attacking a target upon successful spellcast by owner. As of right now, the pet will only begin attacking the target once a mob has engaged the owner. This may seem like minutiae, but there is a marked difference.

For example, on retail if I cast CoA on a target from max range, my Voidwalker would then immediately engage the target and meet the mob before it could get into melee range with me, or run all the way to the mob in the case of casters. As of right now on Nostalrius, if I cast CoA on a target from max range, the Voidwalker will just sit there and do nothing until either the mob engages me in melee combat or lands a successful spellcast on me. This is not Blizzlike.

This is the case for all Warlock pets. Using the same example, once I land CoA on a target, my Imp in defensive mode should immediately begin casting Firebolts instead of waiting for the mob to hit/cast a spell on me... and so on with the Succubus, Felhunter, Infernal and Doomguard, respectively.

I played a Warlock on retail from day 1 of Vanilla until the very end of Cataclysm, just to give a frame of reference on my experience with the class.

any class bug is a serious bug. it completely changes how classes function. things like fixed respawn time of xxxx mob is far less valuable than a warrior generating 5x intended threat making you unable to pull aggro even when he doesn't have a main hand weapon equiped.

let me know when you've checked please.
