Old Promo Items

I was wondering if the dev team had considered implementing a way to obtain the old promotional items in game. The original blizzard method of obtaining is obviously not available, but they could be earnable through some form of achievement or added as rare drops. Since the server does not accept donations they cannot be avaiable as donation rewards (Kronos).

List of Promo items available in Classic WoW and method of obtaining:

Murky - blizzcon 2005
Gurky - EU giveaway
Zergling - CE
Panda Cub - CE
Mini Diablo - CE
Tabard of Flame - TCG Loot
Hippogryph Hatchling - TCG Loot
Riding Turtle - TCG Loot
Tabard of Frost - UDE Points
Perpetual Purple Firework - UDE points

If you have a code for the murky pet you can still get it from the NPC in Org and Ironforge, just enter the code into the box. It might even work on an already redeemed code.

Funny thing is that I was going to make a suggestion thread about adding the CE pets, Murky, as well as the Tiny Red and Green Dragons (iCoke promo pets), but then I found this. Anyway, I would love for Nostralius to release these old promo items. Only problem is how they would do it, since they want to be 100% Blizzlike, and have no donation rewards. Maybe a giveaway?

I have checked in game and the npcs who really deem the codes are in game but when spoken to, they have no option to enter a code at all. This goes for not only the murloc pets byt also landro longshot in BB . This was prior to the AV patch so unless it just recently changed, old codes won't work

The codes are not hardcoded into the client or server (emulator).
I'm willing to bet someone has come up with an NPC that receives a string and grants an item. ScriptDev does support input into gossip... right?
