Hi just an idea,

Message to the Devs:

Have you guys ever thought of screen printing and selling Nostalrius Begins T-shirts? (i'm sure there would be people out there that would wear them!) with the proceeds going towards server maintenance etc..? :)

They nearly refuse to accept donations simply by omission of how to do so. I imagine they don't want to set expectations.

I wouldn't set up any kind of business-like operation if I was the project leader, there's no reason to pique blizz's interest or distress with nostalrius any further, having a 10k playerbase is bad enough.

The instant there is money to be made is the instant Blizzard's lawyers get motivated to look for reason to shut the server down.

I can see it happening if a separate team cut off from Nos team makes tee-shirts. If not it'll only motivate blizzard more to take action. Only way it would work is if people outside Nos do it. Like you or me.

Pfft, screen print.

Embroider that shit on a polo t-shirt! :D

And sell it for bitcoins. The US has declared it a commodity; ergo not money. And it can be mostly anonymous. So no proof that the Nost Team is the one getting the money.

Only issue would be what to use for designs. Alliance and Horde "emblems" are trademarked/copyrighted material; Nost needs an emblem!

Embroider

Nost Emblems

Screen Print

My heart lives on Nostalrius

...that's about all I can come up with right now.
