Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I was wondering, with the population of the pvp server becoming a bit intense, if there was hope for a fresh pvp server that could stand alongside the new pve server (progression wise) but provide a more engaging environment for people who enjoy pvp. I personally chose to play on the pve server because of the ability to start fresh and not be raid tiers behind on the current; but, I was shocked to see how few members of the community are actually interested in pvp. We're approaching our first grand marshal (about 4-5 weeks out) and I can only list about 30 regular pvpers (horde and alliance combined) with maybe another 15 inconsistent faces that show up every now and again. The population of the PVP server (despite being "not blizz-like" and causing economy issues) is still slowly growing in population and I can't help but think a new pvp server would help to alleviate that population and appeal to newcomers who are unwilling to join the current pvp server because they would be too far behind in gear. I realize this is a long shot but, I would even be willing to pitch in money to help get a new pvp server up and running.

A Fresh PvP server would be nice, as long as it can get a decent population.

Won't happen.

A new PvP server has to happen. It's literally a matter of time. Nostalrius grows, it broke 10k after ZG, it will get even more players when AQ comes closer. It is already borderline unplayable, if a server partition won't happen it will become even worse.

I imagine a fairly decent population from the pvp server would be quite interested, I hear there's an awful lot of gankage while leveling!

Just the minor issue of financing the project, I hear Krug will cover that part!

I feel as if this is the correct way to fix the overpopulation on the PvP realm.

Make a new PvP realm that EU/US/CN can all play on the same as our current realms. The CN population is not high enough to warrant a server to themselves yet we still need to reduce the population that currently exists on the PvP realm.

Lock the PvP realm for an extended period of time until population is believed to have been reduced to a satisfactory number. Once a 2nd PvP realm and the PvE realm exist a new player on the server will think nothing of the fact that one PvP realm is locked and unplayable. They still have as much variety as needed being able to pick between a 2nd PvP realm and PvE realm

Except it is. According to viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3641&start=200#p198196 , even a month ago all top 10 fastest leveling guilds on Alliance and 7 out of top 10 guilds on Horde were chinese. Their numbers have certainly increased since then. Chinese players right now form a huge community, and that community would deserve a server of its own.
