Same reason why Black Friday happens and people get trampled to death over RadioShack deals.
People put their money down before they are done thinking about it.
Only in America mate...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fkyp470B0YAs for prepurchasing games, people are just silly like that. If I tell you "I am going to make you the most awesome pair of trousers, but I need money 1st, so you pay me now and I will give you it later." You would never do it, will you? Why not? Because you have no idea what they look like and if they will fit properly etc. So why give money to developers?
Just use your brains people lol All you say when you prepurchase anything is "Here is the money, do whatever you want and I don't care if the outcome is good or bad". I believe this is why we get such trash in the gaming industry nowadays.
Legion is the last chance Blizz got with me. I got on the hype train with WoD (god knows why as if i don't know what they are like...) paid full on price for the garrison garbage, but not gonna happen again.
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me!"
Found Legion for £20 so decided to give them one more chance at that price. Very skeptical though, I refuse to get on the hype train. If it's good, then woopy doo. If not...well, I got it cheap and me and my guild will manage to get some fun out of it, so not gonna feel like I was cheated off my money like I did with WoD.
