Why on earth would they claim that some random item can be obtained at 19 which cannot? Independent sources. While everything else they say about twink gear is correct. Are you suggesting there's some sort of conspiracy?
They have no reason to lie nor would it make sense for them to be mistaken. Why would they mistakenly assume a random green from some arbitrary quest could be obtained at 19? How would they even come to know the names of those items? There must be dozens of green quest reward weapons around that level and no one cares about their names. The only reason anyone knows glacial stone is because it was an iconic twinking weapon. That's why they're credible sources.

Track them down and ask them, I got no clue why people lie or say stuff that isn't correct sometimes, there can be a ton of reasons, and all of them don't have to be malicious conspiracies (I already emphasized on this multiple times). They had databases like we do, so what is your point? I can find all the best weapons for every level within a few minutes.

Everything they write can even be correct and you would still not be able to refer to them as credible sources, because they are most likely in another patch and a lot of things change throughout the different patches.

Right, I'm the one being dense ... Of course it's possible that they were wrong but it's extremely unlikely. What's so hard to understand about that. What the hell do you expect? A mathematical proof? We have independent sources stating the same thing, none of them seem to have any motive to lie and they seem to know what they're talking about judging by the other stuff they say.

What's the evidence that the items should not be available by the way? Oh, right, none whatsoever. Not to mention every other private server under the sun has them available.

They had databases sure but if as you claim the weapon was not available at 19 then how did they find it? Did they all coincidentally browse the same random item id on thottbot and think to themselves hey! glacial stone! I'm gonna make a post about that and lie about it being available at 19.
