People who are leveling, or just hit 60: How was it?

by Sargath » Mon Nov 16, 2015 12:29 pm

Seeing that this server is massive, I'm betting that there is a lot of ganking when leveling up. I leveled to 32 here and started on that other server and dinged 60. But I made the mistake of rolling alliance and now I'm bored and wanting to try Horde on this server.

But I worry that some of the population of higher leveled players are going around ganking leveling players will make me bored and quit again, so how is it exactly?
I know there is ganking, but this server is so populated, that I imagening there is much more of it here!

Thanks for answers!

There's alot of ganking. And i mean shitloads. If you can't take that, just roll on PvE server again.

Torghatten - 60 Gnome Mage (PvP)
Razà - 60 Undead Rogue (PvP)

I didn't think it was that bad actually (and I've levelled four characters to 60, three of them clothies.) You learn to protect yourself and reduce your exposure, and you can generally get things done.

If ganking bothers you then you can always roll on the PVE server instead (released only a few weeks ago).

Na I don't wanna start on the PvE server, cause I've always loved world PvP!
Another quick question, how is the lower level BGs here? Are they active?

Thanks!

Pretty full of twinks to be honest. But that's what it was like in retail.
You can definitely play them though, they pop often enough.

Yes, as this guy says ^
Alliance has quicker queues, tho.

The usual ganking at STV now, but hardly anything bad. Not like they are corpse camping or anything... Playing horde.

There's a nice circle thing going on when levelling in STV.
When you first get there in your 30s (?), you get steamrolled everyday, but as you get quests done etc. you eventually get to the late 40s (?), and then the table has turned. This is where you have the upper hand and can choose to gank every.living.ally.organism.in.the.entire.zone.
Some carry on in other zones, and others stick around because they have some ganking done to them, that they have to make up for.
I thought this was a dating site?
