Talents?

If the server has a timeline, and it start as of EU start, will paladin have the old talent's tree?

I highly doubt anyone would ever want to play with the old talent trees.
That means Shamans wouldn't even get a revamp until Naxxramas release.
No. No one wants that completely skewed class balance.
As if Vanilla wasn't already very jarring in balance. The 1.12.1 talents are by far the best ones to play with because those were the ones all played together after Blizzard finished revamping all the classes and talent trees for balance purposes.

Ha, be so funny if we did play with talents and skills prior to 1.12.1. Remember how weak Warlocks were?

EDIT: Oh lawls...looking at the Druid talents prior 1.12.1. Hurricane as their 30 point talent until Moonkin (1.8) form was introduced. So funny...

either go ALL THE WAY IN, DRY, AND QUICK with pre bffed items/talents/whatever

or leave it be and do everything as it was during 1.12

doing "50% this 50% that" is, in my eyes at least, a little bit.... silly

Why on earth would you want such awful trees, Gabgab. Even if it would be blizzlike. There's classes that would literally be useless for 2 years at least.
Back then people didn't care too much but if we did it now there would only be about 2 dps classes used. Because classes got revamped at way different times so there were times were class X was godmode and others sucked ass.

Why would anyone want that again. :roll:

btw I want
no weapon speed normalization
spelldamage 1:1 for any cast time
BGs only at the entrance portals

Like Gabgab says, go all the way or leave it.

why would anyone want to pay 900g for epic mount again
why would anyone want to level at x1 rates again
why would anyone want to play on a classic server AT ALL again
why would anyone want to run into the city to queue for wsg again


"why" is kinda a difficult question to answer, and in the end you wont have the "perfect" vanilla server anyway


and like secondary said, there is much more stuff that makes the game fundamentally different, spellpower scaling, weapon speeds mattering for various melee abilities and so on

it's a tough thing, out of all the "pre patch" stuff so far only the pre patch items got approval, because it seems like it is something that doesnt feel like too much of a "fun break" for people
but once you mention something that DOES (kinda) reduce the fun for (some) players, then it is regarded as bad

Well, the timeline already proves it won't be "perfect" anyways with how content is being released. There are very few time restrictive markers that dictate when X content gets released. For instance, Azuregoes and Kazzak get released when Onyxia dies.

That wasn't the case in vanilla, heh.
