Nah, they haven't been doing it since it came out.

They sent a few DMCAs to partnered twitch streamers but never people like me, I only had 2k followers and I got a DMCA, non partnered as well.

Like I mentioned earlier, they merged all the WoW channels into one so if you stream nost in the mega channel now you're going to get a nice 24 hour suspension like I did.

they have been doing it before tho. i started pretty short after this server came out. and when i was a lowbie in goldshire i already heard about this. so it really isnt anything new. it all happened before

Sending a DMCA to Sodapoppin and sending them to streamers like me is an entirely different situation.

well maybe its different but it was already very clear they didnt want people to stream private servers. Besides im happy there are waaaaay to many people spamming their twitch in trade general and other chats. wich is like saying stop playing and watch me play.

most of them have maybe 10 viewers if not less. it is not a big loss anyway

and most of them are things like "hey watch me play lvl 32 pally having fun" not exactly something people want to watch

I actually get a decent number of viewers when I stream. Hopefully removing the game channel will be enough.

What if you just don't advertise it as Nostalrius? Just say you're playing World of Warcraft and see if Twitch mods are really going to look that far into it.

Because that's like admitting that your current game is shit. It would also hurt their bottom line considering that new players might think that it's the current version of the game, and be put off by it.

There is literally no reason for them to do it. Nothing to be gained, only lost.
