I hope you all know Im not the one spamming this time(somebody was spamming with the name Ogtuckz). If you dont believe me I can post screens in the morning of me banning him from world when I was the moderator
Whoever is spamming thats not the way to go about this, it will reach 1000 votes just give it some time, we have already brought this issue to light,
one more note to the spammer I hope your on another account so your main doesn't get muted for 24 hours like mine did a couple days ago

I totally get where your comin from man I did the same shit a couple days ago, and I got a 24 hour mute so be careful is all im sayin
But ya I agree world should be treated just like any other channel weather it be trade or barrens chat, let the GMs run it and only kick players from the channel for execsive spam, freedom of speech is a must have. You shouldn't have to worry about getting kicked from world for just messin around joking and having fun

If they decide to punish me for this let it be, I cannot control them or what they do, I can only hope to bring attention to the issue at hand wish for the change I seek.

I'm trying to affect change and I accept any and all ramifications of my actions. I truly believe what I am doing is in the best interest of the greater good of the whole community, and not just myself.

Please vote and spread the word. Stop things like this from being able to even occur in the future.

Ya, this is pretty ridiculous. People are getting banned for even mentioning this thread in world chat. If that doesn't show the motives of these power hungry players I don't know what does.

5. There shouldnt be a world chat, because it more or less ruins the point of any general/trade/defense chat.

The idea that a player created channel should be moderated by (unpaid) GM's is just stupid. The only reason the majority are complaining is because people who actually moderated it were banning spammers ect. Its a PLAYER channel and the owner and moderators change constantly. Don't like it? Don't use it. Go stand in a city and spam. You need it to find a group? Join the channel until you find one and leave. Seriously use it for what it is and get over it. GM's shouldnt have to monitor it. GM's do not "Monitor" ANY channel. They respond to player complaints and then check logs. SMH

At this point the choices are moot and I need as many votes as possible in the shortest amount of time possible. It is up to Nostalrius to decide what change, if any, is needed, all I can do is show how many people want change from the current policy to an alternative (86 percent of 670 people as of this post favor a policy change).

This is not a discussion about THE current policy and justifying it. We are attempting to shift this policy from what you have described, which is the current SOP/Regs or /world, which is the entire problem.

When you use the SOP as justification for not changing the SOP because it currently is the SOP...well, its kinda of ridiculous.

Please vote and encourage your friends to do likewise. I do not care how you vote, that is up to you.

Last update before I go to sleep. The votes are still ticking in slowly so hopefully over the course of tomorrow the EU/US population will get word and come and get the vote into the thousands. Then we can think about closing the poll within the next 48 hours to see where we stand on this issue and move on. There has to be a reasonable end to this as I cannot keep up the marketing blitz for long.
