Pacing the content like this ensures that you have no way to compete if you aren't part of that incredibly tiny group of extreme hardcore nolifers who are able to put in this kind of time. The raiding environment of this server is already completely bereft of any pretense of competition because nothing was put in place to ensure that there could even really be any noteworthy participation.

MC should have been closed until everyone who puts in a serious amount of time has had a fair chance at hitting the level cap. That's not the case at this point, yet the entire first tier of content will be downed before most people reach 60. That's a massive downer and seriously diminishes the appeal of a new server. With the amount of time it takes to level up on such an overcrowded server, MC should have been closed for at least a full month.

Please explain why people who don't put in the work deserve server first? Everyone had a chance to do what GRIZZLY did. Why do you expect something without putting work into it? I don't understand why people like you are so upset that people like to raid and progress at something other than a snail's pace.

I'm not upset at all if they progressed legit.

Damn, we need to all get along then.

Does your tryhard mentality carry over into RL for you there brah? Seriously how many ribs have you had removed?

I do indeed tryhard in real life, I like being a succesful person rather than someone who is terrible at everything he does and claims anyone who isn't of the same degree of failure as himself a cheater.

Dave Mirra is a cheater because he can ride bikes real good too, huh? Fuckin tryhard.

Server first on 10 yr old content makes you successful in your own mind? Oh, yea, successful try learning to spell it first.

Key word is "if". You have NO IDEA how they accomplished what they did yet the first thing you do is accuse them of cheating. There is no reasoning or fact behind your assbag accusations.

Because even people who have made a reasonable effort have not had a chance to hit 60 yet. It's not like everyone except GRIZZLY are casuals who haven't been trying. It's so early in the server's life that even very dedicated players have, in many cases, not yet hit level 60. Something like 0.1% of the playerbase is even at the level cap. For the first tier to be cleared when the server is in this state is incredibly bad for the raiding environment. It has eliminated any chance of competitiveness.

It's the same reason retail WoW doesn't have raids available right away when an expansion launches. If you do, only the people who play 16+ hours a day every day are even eligible for competition. This is a very bad precedent to set. What's actually gained by facilitating this current situation where MC has been cleared at a point in time when only one guild is even raid ready?

What exactly is better about having it this way? Why rule out competition in order to cater to a microscopic sample of the playerbase?

Everyone has had a chance to hit 60. Explain why people who level faster need to be held back by slow levelers?

Jesus Christ, you have the most primitive perspective. No, everyone has not had a chance to hit 60. A tiny, insignificant fraction of the playerbase is 60. Far less than 1%.

My goodness, some people are just incapable of reason.

There was no such guarantee, that everyone who puts in a subjectively reasonable amount of effort should be 60 before MC is released, by your standards we wouldnt have MC uhh, for at least 6-12months. The Guarantee was that progression would be released in relation to the FIRST boss kills (with the race for Rag being ON from day ONE!), you still have 1-2months to catch up.
You lost all of the races, im sorry friend, i wish everyone could be a winner like on retail, perhaps if you go to suggestion forums and ask for an achievement system, then perhaps you could have something to work towards? i dont know, im real sorry friend, i dont like seeing people who are bad at games, its unfortunate.

You can't reason with a guild wide team effort.

If you can't level at a reasonable pace then you have no business even expecting to obtain server first anything. GRIZZLY wanted to raid Molten Core ASAP. They should not have to be held back just because there's a lot of slow levelers.
