Re-reading this thread and the other posts, can conclude Horde is quite scummy preying on < 60's and just shit talking.

But at the same time, still can't blame them, since all the alliance 60's hide in their premades inside empty BGs or exploiting Ony/MC instead of assisting their fellow leveling Alliance players in various zones.

Just a mutually scummy situation.

the hordes ganking the allies are being cunts toward the rest of the horde too, since they will have less people to fight in actual pvp

I think that's the thing everyone is missing and it's because they're too short sighted, or simply don't care. So many people here have this mentality like if they can push you to quit the server they somehow win in life. Great, congratulations, you made someone quit a game because it was no longer fun and they spent their entire time being dead. Bravo to you, the server now has 1 less person. I can hear the "don't worry the server has 6.4k players on" but how long do you think that will last? This can very easily turn into Feenix 2.0 especially when you throw in all the other issues this server has (corrupt GMs, major exploits, etc) do you really want to be part of that trend?

At the end of the day how good will you feel when you have full PvP sets, thousands of HKs and not a single Alliance left on the server? What about all those new players who barely made it to 30 and you pushed away onto another server? Right now the only thing going for Nostalrius is they have the number of players, but when that number starts to rapidly decline (and it already is) what will you do? You'll either be sitting in town with your shiny gear that you can't use, stuck on a dead server remember the good 'ol days when the server was alive, or you'll be forced to switch to one of the other servers because they will be the ones with the players.

I'd like to add that this kind of stuff was punishable on retail. World PvP was one thing, this has gone beyond world PvP and is harassment. Last time I checked harassment was against the rules here as well, but I'm assuming the staff won't do anything. They're all too busy making sure the new content is "working" for their friends, they couldn't be bothered with things like this.

If anyone is truly outright farmed and griefed, there are procedures in place to notify GMs. Nostalrius' policies in that regard are actually far more carebear-friendly that retail Blizzard was. Obviously Nostalrius has a different stance on the matter and players must comply with their rules. If anyone has griefed you, kindly present evidence, and I'm certain the GMs will review your case objectively.

I know of no case in retail vanilla where a player was banned or even warned for "excessively camping and griefing" anyone in on a PvP server. Au contraire, I know of a case in retail, where the GM response on such a report was that griefing and camping low levels is a valid tactic in world pvp on a pvp realm and therefore cannot be penalized. Logic behind this is that if you prevent some of your enemies from reaching 60, you'd have fewer enemies to fight.

To that other guy, who muttered something about lack of logic under his foul breath, before scurrying away - the only lack of logic is you attempting to hold an opinion, yet unable to present arguments in support of that opinion.

I love this server, and as horde I love running around in a gank squad making the alliance leveling a hell. Yesterday we camped 5 alliance for 45 min and it was really funny chasing them down. The horde are actually working together and manage to use the chat for organizing Wpvp. If you are being camped, just logoff for 30 min, make a cup a tee or fo something else, when you login again you can play again.

It's a pvp server, remember. Either quit, play or reroll horde. Problem solved. This server has 6k+ player and some few crybabies leaving means nothing.

QQ moar. Alliance leveling is fine L2P.

This is everything wrong with humanity today. I weep for the future.

Also when we log back in, the next gank squad rolls through, so we log out for 30 minutes, come back and the next gank squad rolls through. Shower rinse repeat. Enjoy the empty server once you've accomplished your goal of making everyone quit. My won't the game be fun then.

The Ongoing Harassment policy does not apply to PvP. PvP encounters are considered a facet of normal gameplay and can be resolved through combat or other in-game means. Game Masters may intervene in extreme situations or if the harassment has transitioned to chat communication.

When you can't even play the game or land without being instantly killed and camped to the point you have to log out or quit the server entirely sounds like extreme situations to me. Again, this isn't your average world pvp, this is people going out of their way to harass others into quitting the game and are going to great lengths to ruin the gameplay for everyone else.

I just hit 48 and decided to leave tanaris and goto burning steppes, bad idea 60's at fp and roaming in tunnels, no biggie i thought i'll goto ungoro, 60's were at marshals refuge so no chance of quests.. Hell I'll try buring steppes ? 60's, Feralas? 60's .. The only way forward is to do dungeons, grind or quit alliance.

I'm all for pvp but all the alliance camps have at least 3 geared 60's preventing players from getting quests or doing anything which is I think a problem. There's no way a 60 should get honor from killing a grey 48 or even a 50 which is why I think honor needs to be addressed by staff.

This discussion is not going anywhere anyway. Horde is blaming the alliance for hiding behind premades in BGs, so they justify their gang fest for rank climbing/premade dodging. Alliance is blaming the horde for ganging and stopping our levelling process.
The fact is that at the moment, all 50+ zones are horde locked. There is nothing to report to GMs, the griefing is coming from a lot of players, not only the same players camping, many 60s are roaming, looking for an easy honor grab, you can't do shit about it, you just run to your corpse, kill one mob and get killed yet by another 60. As soon as you land somewhere you are pretty much dead, survival time is only a few minute before your levelling process is being interrupted again.
I might be pessimistic but devs won't do anything, this is a pvp server, and killing greens isn't an exploit, horde and alliance players won't change anything, and the server will slowly go down the drain, I believe it has already started.
Server is overpopulated and imbalanced, leading to many different issues: long bg queues for the horde, competition for mobs/quest items, increase probability to encounter the opposite faction etc…
