That actually sounds a lot less painful than doing 1x leveling.

So did GRIZZLY only have SS for the proof? You would think with such a large accomplishment they would try to at least have ONE person recording. I don't mean to be rude, and I'm not too well versed in WoW firsts and such, but wouldn't more evidence be required here?

The devs get to see it but you don't
My name is nimpie. That's my mother's tacky sense of humor. I left home when I was 13 because my stepbrother raped me. So I ended up in a lot of different places and now I live in Boston, working as a stripper

Someone fucking took the name Johncena ASAP on server launch. I was gonna make a Rogue called Johncena and make pvp videos of me ganking grey lowbies, render it in 240p and have that song blasting so loudly its' distorted through the whole vid which has a ton of crazy zoom-in and colour editings like Mute's Rogue PvP video.

Unfortunately I talked about this plan before server release, so someone took the name already, and probably that idea with him as well.

RIP my johncena vids.

P.S. - Still expecting GRIZZLY johncena raid streams in future.

It is possible they don't stream progression? Similar to how a lot of guilds don't stream retail progression.

People don't stream retail progression mostly because the top end of top end guilds do it so fast that by that time no1 knows the best tactics or raid setup, and if anything, some don't even know all the fight mechanics yet Many times through the history of WoW, the top end raiding guilds have used different strategies and raid compositions, (and often abusing glitches) to get world firsts many many times. The competition is VERY relevant on retail.

But this is content from 2005. Everyone that's playing knows everything that is to do. There's nothing to hide from others, neither strategy, tactics, raid setup wise, or anything like that. Not even competition wise, because so far it seems there's no competition at all for GRIZZLY.

There's literally 0 reason not to stream it, except that being afraid or embarrassed of your own or your guilds behaviour or possible shit talk on voice chats. And we all know they don't give a flying fuck about any of that.

Either that or you're afraid you'll show how bad you are at the game from the stream footage. But I doubt that as well.

So literally 0 reason not to stream raiding on Nostalrius.

Truth be told, I just want to watch a stream of a playthrough through MC with Johncena blasting through voice chat.

People live streamed progression on retail vanilla? :o

I'm inclined to disagree Hatson, from the mindset of a raider during progression I wouldn't want to stream.
Streaming is a distraction and opens you up to getting unwanted whispers from randoms and trolls when you're trying to kill bosses and should be focusing on your role in the raid instead.

You also kinda paint a big red target on your head (we are so loved on this server after all) since it can potentially lead to people trying to grief you outside the instance if people from the opposite faction get a hold of your stream link (<3 rottix)

The alliance is in decent shape in regards to the number of 60's. If these tactics are so old and easy, why has no one else progressed it beyond the first few bosses of MC? Furthermore, how will bringing 9 rogues to a boss like Garr or Baron help insure you don't lose dps to rogues on fire?

As many of you have mentioned, MC is not hard, we never said it was. Was it a struggle? Sure, many members in the raid are still wearing greens. Did we come prepared with consumables? I doubt many of these kills would've been possible without them.

yo why are people so desperate like why don't you just go kill it, literally nothings stopping you
you control everything around you, its 2005 content just go kill it instead of being super depressed and weird about it

one reason to make a video is this:

We ALL know how MC is raided. Its totally not interesting to watch guild 200umpteenth clear MC.

However, it might be interesting to see guild 'Server 1st' wearing all those greens clear it! How do they do it with so few hitpoints, resistance mana etc? That might actually be a challenge and worth watching!

there is no footage from early raiding in retail as it is so long ago and making video's was not common then. So now we have the chance to 'document' actually ' raiding in scrub gear.' for the first time.

So i'd say make that video!
