I don't understand why people are calling us cry babies and "Carebears" this was not the vanilla experience. YES, i was killed in 2004 by level 60's all the time, it happens but now?? The fact is now, level 60's have NOTHING better to do then camp flight masters because of queue times or AV being "broken". It is making the leveling aspect of the game frustrating and unplayable. Stop calling people bitches because we complain about UNFAIR fights. Blizzard called this GREIFING, it was OK to kill an opposite faction but if you camp them in their own town on a building were guards cant get to you, you were obstructing the leveling processing and it was a 3 day suspension.....I know i got one with my hunter! I am so dead set on hitting 60, I have to play between the hours in which the middle of the Pacific Ocean is prime time. World PVP is tough, but killing lowbies when they land on a flightpath or casting blizzard ontop of the in in Tanaris....come on?

You needn't stop leveling. This isn't the doomsday scenario. This is the opening signs of some imbalance and we are noting some of the effects of BG boredom.

However, I'm at 58 now and I have pretty much been alone the whole time. I've done exactly one dungeon, I rarely get in groups...maybe once every other level when someone just goes ahead and invites me. I've been ganked sure, but I take my time to explore and find places where people are not. It's actually been a lot of fun. And yeah right now some of the FP's are an abysmal mess, but there is always somewhere else to go.

Don't give up.

100% true. Additional problem that ally players can't organize, they don't know what's teamwork. They don't want to fight together, group up and help each other. Many ally players have sth stupid like high ego and huge pride and that's why they suck compared to horde.

OP here. I am glad there has been so many responses. To clarify, this is written by an avid world pvper myself. Its nothing amazing but i have 700+ hks from world pvp alone more or less, im close to lvl 50 ingame, alliance side. I honestly LOVE this server and the pvp on it, but this thread is a result of my observations, and i would like this situation to not escalate and mess up the server.

55:45 ratio doesnt seem bad, but when you factor in the amount of super original Grim, vurtne and unstoppable fanboys rolling their super original ud male and orc male hero chars, and then factor in the amount of pve/ultra casuals/pvp scared people rolling alliance, its a setup for an unbalanced pvp situation.
Ultimately, people should play whats fun for Them. i Will play alliance even if this escalates massively, i enjoy world pvp. Its the only thing i play for. I played a few ally chars on stormscale eu during s3/s4, so i am familiar with the underdog way of things.

But as stated, if you wanna make sure exiting world pvp will be a Thing in the Long run, consinder this, Ud male heroes, turn off fraps and the melodic death metal from Youtube, and play noob-alliance. I promise you will love the target rich envionment ;)

As far as I remember, my retail realm (Outland and a bit later Ragnaros EU) had restrictions when trying to create new horde characters because the population was imbalanced (60/40 or so).

I don't see any reason not to imply such restriction until the population balances out.

The current situation is simply unbearable.. some days I spend 80% of my time corpse running back and forth and I don't get any progress done outside instances..

I was hoping you -wouldn't- "chip in" with a reply.

It takes a full 5 minutes of reading a few threads in the general forums to get an idea of your intellect.

What I don't understand is this:

Ok it seems a lot of alliances have this problem. Dying all the time is pretty annoying. Look around and group up. Did Frodo go alone on his quest? No he brought his friends. So make friends* and group up. 3 lvl 50s still can be killed by 2 lvl 60s, but at least you might take one of them down with you and you are somewhat protected vs solo lvl 60 gankers.

will it always be a success? no you will group up with idiots. but keep going and soon you will develop a network of teamplayers

* random strangers will do

NB yes I know Frodo tried to sneak off and solo that elite quest but even then somebody wouldn't let him.
