Ah yes, the "fuck you" in the face event from Blizzard. 4 horsemen. :|

The other thing about Naxx is that druid tanks actually became relevant

The thing about 1% seeing Naxx is always a strange statistic.

What do they mean 1%? 1% attempted Naxx or 1% completed Naxx? And does this mean 1% until it was removed at the end of TBC or before TBC when it was new?

I ask because my guild attempted when it was new. Key word is ATTEMPTED. We were stuck on Arachnid and Military wings. Didn't finally get to down the big man himself until sometime before Sunwell hit, and even then we were all in Zul'Aman gear.

as someone who raided naxx40 up to Sapphiron (managed to down Four Horsemen twice but was near xmas holidays so guild stopped raiding until TBC release), naxx was indeed very tough and a step up in difficulty overall since some of the entry bosses was easier than the last bosses in AQ40 but the last bosses were very hard and required alot less "carry" in terms of fewer players who could underperform.

Personally I think TBC came out too fast, as there was less than 100 guilds who had beaten KT before TBC was out (and many of them beat KT first time during 2.0 patch) and Four Horsemen became the guild killer because of its steep rise in difficulty and I'm also guessing that since people knew TBC was near that they cba to give the extra effort to get to KT and down him before TBC.

Oh and not to mention the almighty Thaddius, whom make people's 2006 computers and internet connections to kneel for mercy.

1% is absolute bullshit lol. On Neptulon except Imbalanced, we had a lot of guilds going for Naxx and a lot of guilds progressing. I'm pretty sure at least 85% of the server raiding population saw at least Raz and Anub down..?
Those legends about the "few players" who have actually seen Naxx is nonsence. Yes, not too many guilds managed to get past 4 horsemen but once Death and Taxes killed them, the floodgates opened.. Nihilum did it the next day or two days after as far as I can remember lol.. It was an awesome guild race too, Death and Taxes managed to clear everything world 1st but Nihilum snatched the first KT kill from them

Anyway by the time I saw the frost resistance gear spam, almost every serious raiding guild on the server was in Naxx. And remember when the TBC talents came out to be tested before TBC? Yeah, made it easy mode. ALSO a lot of lvl 70 people did Naxx just for the fecks (and failed miserably too  )

lol i would be impressed if even half of the people on here claiming they "saw naxx" even did MC progression. it seems like every time these topics come up, people make up shit to compete with the other neckbeards

It just feels strange to me that on every vanilla server there are so many people claiming to have been in naxx pre bc... dont get me wrong but i believe most of them either set food in it at the end of tbc or have just seen it on other private servers... my point is if i belong to that pre bc naxx grp of people i would not play a private server! for what? id say been there done that! all this relive vanilla talk when u already done it all? rfor me the question is what keeps u guys comming back all the time? u say competition because it was hardest in vanilla? vanilla is like sueing someone in america, it just takes time!
Its freakin 10 year old content even if u reach the top (many claim to have done so on numerous p servers) your still 10 years late. Maybe im to casual to understand this mindset but its creepy for me.

As for my reason to come here i never played vanilla before! i have an actual reason to be here:-)

i dont want to attack anyone here with this post just help me understand:-P
Does KT have some special odor on him for u to come back and hit him over an over again?
