During TBC ending times before wotlk (2008), according to Blizzard there were approximately 2.5 million North American subscribers. There were 229 North American servers at that time. which would make the number of subscribers per server in North America a little over 10,000. However the population is not evenly distributed and therefore the servers have to be able to handle well over 10,000. I'd say the number is around 12,000 active subscribers.

What is it that the standstill image of those combat logs is supposed to explain?

I can't believe this game is older than 10 years and there are still idiots who have no grasp of the simplest game mechanics. People keeps saying x1 rates weeds out the bads and those with no dedication, but apparently it attracts them.
And to think that these people are actually convinced that they've reached the horizon of available knowledge and other people couldn't possibly be affected by what they refuse to acknowledge...
