I dont want to be bearer of bad news but the server to launch first WILL take population from the server that launches later.
Many people simply dont want to level multiple times and will stick to the first server.

Tell that to the people that played on the other Kronoses(or w/e) ;)
One developer isn't really ideal for a large project like Kronos.

That's not modifying.. That's how a lot of caster AI works on retail still to this day. You seriously don't remember random caster mobs using frost nova when you get close, and then run back to start casting frostbolts.
And then when nova is off CD again, they will do the same thing.
This has been the case for many caster mobs since start of WoW.

But I haven't seen watched many Kronos videos yet, so perhaps you're talking of further modification. But I can tell you for sure that frost nova -> distance from player -> frostbolts - is a very normal behaviour.

I'd like video proof of this claim, if you can think of any mobs that do it joana has a large list of videos so it shouldn't be hard to find if true; but I'm sure they don't actively kite players the way they were doing in the video demo, which you can proove with any caster in the game, such as the ones in live strat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAzMBAFL6us Some areas of the game would be absurd for melee with that type of AI.

Personally I knew about Kronos before Nostalrius, but some things were more appealing on Nos. than on Kronos. For example only one developer is active on Kronos despite many volunteers, if he has any, and on Nos. there are like 16 which is a huge difference. The other thing was old pre 1.4 patch mounts (well I saw that on a old post and I think some dev said they will be available) will be available that a lot of people didn't see in game and would love to see. So that were some crucial things that changed my decision on which server will I play. If for instance Kronos will be released first ofc I will try it but I wont be spending so much time there, I will return here. But as we all see Nos. will be released before so no worries on that.

P.S. Sorry for my bad English.

From what I can tell there are 3 devs working on Kronos right now and I really doubt that there are 16 active devs working on Nos right now, from the way it's phrased, it seems to me that historically 16 devs have worked in the Nos project, but I'd be surprised if more than 3 or 4 devs are working on Nos right now.

Well, the most notorious one among alliance players would ofc be the dude up on Dreadmist Peak
The old comments even talk about it there. He summons adds as well as frost novas, then runs away and kites you with frostbolts.
And then like I said, there's random caster mobs here and there (there's no way in hell I can remember specifically which ones, but for some reason my brain is thinking Silverpine Forest human casters?..) that have frost novas that do walk away before casting a frostbolt after frost nova.

Also, that video is just a Stratholme run. As far as I know, none of the caster mobs in Stratholme ever have Frost nova as an ability. The skeletons sure don't.
(I checked WoWWiki and wowhead frost novas database and the only Stratholme related Frost Nova that popped up was that of The Unforgiven boss - but, it's wowhead, so it's definitely not suffice, I think I remember the humans casting frost nova there).
What I'm saying of course only applies the mobs that can actually "kite" you by using frost nova, and then walking away to start frostbolting you again. If that's what you want to call kiting.

That link didn't proove anything you said >_> and the Kronos mechanic videos show mobs actively kiting you regardless of rooting which I am sure is wrong, and you've still not convinced me on the other behavior either.

My link was specifically to refute the other part of the AI which was easier to prove, that caster mobs don't actively kite.
