Spell Coefficients are off for warlocks

Hello I am posting because I need others to take note of the coeffcient problem with warlock spells. I imagine other classes are suffering from the same issues.
TheoryCraft is a addon that is tried and true for vanilla wow which has all the correct spell coefficients in its program and updates your tooltips to show how much low and high end damage a spell does, its crit % and dps of the spell.
Corruption and agony are not receiving 100% bonus from spell damage
Rank 6 corruption does 666 damage over 18 seconds. These ticks occur once every 3 seconds. The dot ticks for 111 every 3 seconds with no damage gear on.
With 100 spell damage gear on the spell is supposed to do 766 damage over 18 seconds with 127 damage per tick every 3 seconds. It is actually doing 122 per tick on nostalrius.
Shadowbolt is not receiving 85.69% bonus from damage gear.
Proof rank 9 Shadowbolt without spell gear or talents = 455-507
Adding 100 spell damage gear my shadowbolt should be doing 541-593 but my shadowbolts are hitting targets for 524-526 well under the minimum they should be doing. These are mobs without any defensive modes or resistances.

Nope.
The coefficent a spell receives primarily depends on the cast time for the spell, with 3.5 seconds being 100%.
As an instant spell, the correct coefficent for corruption is in the neighborhood of 20%.
(Mods that read grandiose numbers like 100%, 120%, are doing so because they're counting ~20% for each tick, then adding that total up, which is misleading.)

Stick to whatever class you're knowledgeable about.
http://forums.elitistjerks.com/topic/93 ... fficients/CoA should receive 160%, and corruption 120%.

As for shadowbolt, 455-507 base means the average bolt does 480.
Add 100 spell power (85 of which is applied) and this number becomes 522 -- which is what you're receiving.
Why 522? Because you're getting UP TO 85 spell power per cast, meaning between 0 and 85, not a static 85. That means on average you're adding 42.5 to each cast. AKA working as intended.
Welcome to theorycraft.

you are totally wrong setup.
Having played since early 05 and having used theorycraft addon which was correct on retail.
I do not know where you get the 20% bonus number from but thats not even anywhere close. If it was
Searing pain receives 43% just like scorch does with a 1.5 second cast time.
Even today with the newest expansion pack warlocks are STILL receiving 85.69% damage bonus from shadowbolt after 11 years.

Warlock
is what I'm knowledgeable about, bro.
I won't do any more hand-holding to try and explain theorycraft here because you're attempting to be rude to me.
But if you'd like to try and educate yourself, there's a wealth of information available on wowwiki. (Hint: try and understand the reason the number is expressed as 120+)
Have a nice evening.

Not all DOTS have the same coefficient value. It depends largely on the duration of the dot.
