Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey there,

A friend and I are planning to start new characters together. I want to roll as an Undead, and he wants to play as a Shaman. I tried to Google-fu up the answer to whether or not I will be able to just walk all the way from the Undead area over to the Troll/Orc one and pick up the quests there, but the results are all from recent expansions. These people were saying that it "no longer" works the way I want it to, which would imply that I should be just fine in picking up the Troll/Orc quests. If anybody could give me a definite answer so that he and I could accurately plan what we want to do, that would be insanely helpful.

You can grab other faction starting quests.

Get your imp first from the undead warlock trainer quest and thne go to deathkneel, take the zep to org. go do orc quests

easier would be getting to lvl 6/7 before partying, just sucks quite a lot of XP from the start.
