Of Historical Interest

I've been playing Nos for a few weeks now and really enjoying it, again. I leveled a priest to 60 in Vanilla (pre-BC) and, for the life of me, thought we had guild banks back then. And target dummies. Now, this is in no way a complaint, but I'm just curious - when were guild banks and target dummies introduced?

Thanks,

Both of these features were implemented in the Burning Crusade expansion.

There are targeting dummy's that can be made by engineers, however....

Target dummies in Ironforge were added at the very end of The Burning Crusade expansion, in the pre-patch for the Wrath of the Lich King expansion (patch 3.0.2). There used to be a quest NPC called Dr. Boom that ranged DPS could attack for a very long time in Netherstorm that was just like a training dummy.

Guild banks were added in 2.3, the Zul'Aman patch. Before that I think most guilds had special officer or GM alts that were the guild's bank.

Maybe you remember having a guildbank character, and the guildbank on your guildforum? That's how we had it anyway, I don't remember the exact addon(s) but there were some addon(s) which exported the inventory of said character and uploaded it to the forums.

there IS a guild bank.
just mail your stuff to Axynn and it will be stored.
write .gbank take <item> <amount> to take it off the guild bank.

this works for any character, no matter what guild you're in.
