Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi everyone!

I was offline for some months and now relogging to my characters I notice each character has an item in mailbox. My druid recieved (white quality, leather, 40 armor, 15/30 durability) "Cushioned boots". My priest recieved "Soft Fur-lined Shoes" (7armor, cloth, 12/20 durability, white quality). Both items were sent from: "Unknown" and somehow 233204656 days left until being resent. Also strange for me is that both are soulbound for my characters.

Did you also get shoes sent?What's behind all this?

There was a day where the whole server lost their own shoes. I don't know anything about the 2nd pair of shoes though. We lost helms too.

All was well and restored though with in-game mail sent from 'Unknown' with millions of days left on the mail.

there was a bug in the past where everyone's shoes disappeared from their characters, and they mailed them back. Those are the shoes your characters were wearing at the time.

That makes sense, I already wondered why I still didn't have any shoes at lvl 15. Thank you
