We have invested significant time and effort into this server instead of the alternatives (Kronos), resulting in the server's and community's success. Switching costs are extremely high for people that have already reached level 60, farmed an epic mount, and have raided for months. For that reason, the devs actually do owe us something on their end, such as commitment and effort. Do I ask for absolute up-time and for devs to up-end their lives to get the server up? No, but in a commercially reasonable time frame they should stick to their promises.

This is our free time we are spending on this server and im sure a lot of people would glady donate a bit of their income so the server will run more smoothly..

we all want only one freaking thing: playing !!

It'd be reasonable if you were paying a subscription fee...but you're not.

My only complaint is why isn't there a post saying what's going on like maybe "hey the server is down we need to do some database maintenance" or "we are investigating the cause of the recent lag and need to apply some theoretical fixes" or even "sorry george was drunk and accidentally hit "restart and install updates on the server, it'll be back up in 2 hrs" etc...

Really the only issue is lack of communication.
