Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I've been trying to find the beacon for 3 levels now, grinding Naga's, Gnoll's and Ogre's. But alas I have no succeded in getting it! Now I think I'm just unlucky, but have any of you found it and if yes, on what mobs?

I found the tanaris beacon while doing ZF on my alt, but haven't come across any of the other beacons on either of my characters.

The beacon and some other quests in Feralas seem to be missing or bugged on nostalrius from my experience.
-The beacon doesn't seem to drop
-second quest from the leatherworker to go grind the second type of yeti which gives the chest reward is also not available.
- quest to free the sprite darters which is on a timer is automatically completed
- quest for refueling the zapper from the gnome at the docks to feathermoon stronghold is also missing

For what it's worth, this quest works fine for the horde. I did it about 2 weeks ago.

The only distress beacon I found was Tanaris as well, though I didn't spend much time in Hinterlands or Feralas.
