I just feel bad for them, knowing that grey-ganking is the only way they can have power over another human being.

I am not sure which level you are. But know that, should you be 48+ you will be a target by pvpers, its not because they dont like you (it could be), the reason for that is you need industrial amount of honer to obtain the standing you need to get progress.

However should you be below 48 its something else. In that case its just for the harassment. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

you will still get this at high lvl. When farming in EPL i often get lvl 57-58 allies attacking me when i'm low. They probably are getting their adranaline up from killing an in combat fury warrior at low HP. So it's actually the lower lvl venting some anger. Even while i never gank anyone (if i ever ganked anyone it would be some 60 running around with PvP gear on or for a thorium vein)

Just attempt to kill your mob, corpse run and continue farming. Don't let them waste more of your time then they already have.
