Is this a bug or vanilla client?

I was in menethil and took the boat.

It was raining so i enter inside the boat and still was raining. Now im just asking, is it a bug? or it was like that back in vanilla?

Can't remember having seen that in retail, but since effects are 100% client side, it must have bugged back then also.

Yeah, weather effects are client-side. Buggy vanilla stuff.
