Is there an API to pull guild and character info from?

Hello everyone. I am wondering if this server has any sort of API equivalent to Blizzard's for pulling info for characters, guilds, items, etc... in JSON format. I am asking because I am building a website for my guild from scratch, and I would need this sort of information to populate a guild roster within the site. I hope this has not been asked before. Thanks for any information!

There is no publicaly accessible database for this that I am aware of - the closest to this is realmplayers.com which records players lvl 10 and above.
Since the official Armory did not exist in retail vanilla, I don't know that there is a way to pull this information out of the databases. Even if it were possible, this project is focused on a Blizzlike experience, so it's not likely this would be very high priority.

Didn't the CTprofile thing or whatever it was called that everyone used before armory p much do this?
