...legacy servers?

You know, this thing has been talked a lot, and perhaps is the moment to bring them back. I'd like to know how would you react if this happens.

Personally, i would stay here, because after 35 days played, i would never start playing from zero again, NEVER.

what about you guys? what are your feelings about this possible event?

i would play there.. just to support blizzard because wow is a great game

Blizz said they will never release a vanilla server ever.

Also, I read somewhere that they lost the source code of the classic Wow... As a developper, it seems to big to be true !

it depends on how they release it. Would it be exactly like how it was in vanilla? Would they fix bugs before they were actually fixed? Would it be in the same timeline or would it just be on patch 1.12 with all the content released right away? Would it have all the new Quality of life UI updates? Would there be unlimited raid debuff slots instead of the 8 then 16 we are dealing with now.

Id have to wait and see before I make a decision.

I doubt they will go back to a model without their micro transaction bullshit, IE. race/faction/name/gender change etc.

Especially since Activision is now involved... *shudder*

Yeah, all those things you just pointed makes clear they will never release a legacy server, specially when a new expansion is coming.

It would be interesting. I agree with Bellular that, it is around the time for them to start seriously thinking about progression/legacy servers, at the very least. If they did, I would probably make a character there, but I would keep playing here, as long as I have friends here. Contrary to what some would have people believe, there is a good community here.

They have actually said this about many things, and later reneged.

You know if they did that, it would be with the new models with humans running like they have a giant stick up their ass. No doubt they would have hundreds of cash shop items. It would never be the same if blizzard did it.
