Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

A week ago i deleted my main lv 40 character and i have been beating myself over it since then.
My biggest issue is that because of it i probably won˙t ever have a similar character since i really do not want to level the same exact race and spec for another 40 levels.

It´s kinda boring to level another tauren warrior from 1-40 after you have just done that.
So i made an undead frost mage for now but it˙s not a great substitute for what i wanted to do.
I enjoy tanking but i was told that druids are not the end game tier tanks therefore i am discouraged from leveling one.

Should i just give up and accept that i will never tank raids or should i roll a paladin on alliance side?

Paladins are quite limited in raid tanking anyway. Why would you delete a character?! Just create a different race one and level it as a different spec, level 40 isn't that hard to achieve again. I would suggest not deleting something on impulse, life lesson learned.

I always have to stop myself from deleting characters when they need not be. I've been where you've been plenty of times before and it's not a nice place to be. Best piece of advice I can give is pick something you want to do and get stuck in. The more time you spend mulling over what could've been go ahead and get grinding.

You will never tank raids except the occasional AoE pack as a paladin, so either make a new warrior or play something else.

Trippin accidently deleted his fully geared mage, with azuresong mageblade etc., 6 months ago. We've been laughing about it ever since.

Also, in Vanilla, Paladins are healers only. Anyone who tells you otherwise is deluded and suboptimal.

Why would you delete any character over level 10? With the exception of an account being full, but...even then, you can just create another account for free.
