Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Alright! So some friends of mine is already at work on this server, and I'm considering joining in. I have been lurking a bit, and speaking to people in the low level zones, and its not been all bad.

However we all know Vanilla was a huge time sink, and while I have no intention of rushing to 60 or any of that, the doubt is strong in me. I have never played on a private server before, but my general knowledge of them tells me, that long term is troublesome. So I'd like to ask a few questions, to satisfy my ignorance, if I may

1. Won't Blizzard strong the court hammer down at some point?

2. I keep hearing people throwing around the "This server is providing what it promised" and "its not blizzlike on so many things". What are these people talking about? From what I have see there are some bugs yes, but theres a great connection, and a very respectable population.

I'll probably have more questions, and when I do, I'll editing them in. Thanks for your time and answers

1. They're in Europe, they aren't able to be taken down by Blizzard.
2. Ignore the haters, this is the closest Blizzlike experience that has been in the private server community since its inception.
