Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi so I've been following Kronos and Nostalrius for a while now and I'm still undecided. You from the community and possibly devs, why should I choose Nostalrius? What are your reasons to play here?

Nostalrius was open for several years and was always very stable without any lag, scripts are really good too, not perfect, but great. Overall the experience is way better than any other private server I tried. We haven't seen AQ40 and Naxx on Nostalrius yet, but I haven't seen... anything from Kronos for now. I'm sure Kronos will be fine, but I already know this for a fact about Nostalrius.

Progression through the best expansions.

For me it's the community to be honest. I followed both to begin with, but the Kronos community seems very alike to the Feenix one, and I for one, can not stand douchebags. Second to that, I really enjoy AV, and since Nos is bring it back the old style, I am sold on that alone. Not to mention the old stats PvP gear, no custom stuff like on Kronos, where you can respecc for 10g etc.

So all in all, a more complete vanilla wow experience than Kronos is to be found here.

Its a question you have to answer yourself. Asking it in this forum will definitely give you biased answers.
Try out both, make your choice.

Their forum is way more active thus you also have alot more "douchebags" in it.
At the moment I tend more towards Kronos then Nostalrius. Reasons are my own and would only cause ruckus here.

I would presume that OP has asked a similar question on Kronos forums as well, and is trying to get insight from both communities about their own server. Every server is unique in some way, that one can not find out by oneself without a long commitment. It is a huge time dump when trying to decide where to play.

I'm also interested in hearing these opinions.

Whichever launches first is going to get a real chance to be my permanent home. If I'm happy I'll stay.

That's probably my priority-check list in which I'll follow to determine which server. I found Nostalrius first, but Kronos appears to be well scripted as well. Feenix sucked because it was just a bunch of self-centered pricks running around being tools. Subject to some pretty bad lag at times, but I'm attributing that to the popularity of the server(s). Rebirth was really great, community wise and even some scripting. Just a really small player base + lack of content.

Looking for the next best thing I guess..

I feel exactly the same as you about it. Whoever releases first is going to have a big edge.

I really feel like both will release almost at same time frame, when one announces its release date the other will follow suit.
