Farming - Gold per hour

I was wondering what people have for d to be the averaging gold per hour is via 10 level brackets.

10-20
21-30
31-40
41-50
51-60

I am currently in the 31-40 bracket and averaging 16-17 gold an hour.

Would be interested to see peoples numbers.

WHY would anybody who is not insane want to farm gold in the 30-40 bracket when he can get twice that amount of gold in the 40-50 bracket and 4 times that amount in the 50-60?

Ok, I will allow some gold making for your lvl 40 mount, that is a worthy endeavour. But after that no farming, you will make more at the maximum level.

This is exactly why I was asking

My RL friend is levelling up his character so I am farming gold until he catches up with me (enough for both our mounts)

The fact I can earn much more at higher levels is good news to me - I love to farm

that is ok. holy men only need water and some dry bread, maybe a barrel to sleep in... So you can give me 18 out of every 20 g, you don;t need it.

Im pretty clueless about maximizing gold earned per hour through arbitrage & market fluctuations from patches & the economy maturing in general for vanilla but Tbh I'm so glad my gold whoring days are over. It can be fun and addicting. I'm probably making like 3g an hour from my total gold earned / played time at 60.

For patient farmers some long term tips:

When a new dungeon gets released or will be released soon, check what protection gear / pots are needed and stock up on materials for those.

For example: With the emerald dragons released people need (greater) shadow protection potions so the price of Grave Moss will go up by 200-400%

when ZG is released people will be eager to get the great craftable items like bloodvine. You can make a bundle if you have a massive stock of Ironweb Spidersilk . Powerful Mojo (farmable in EPL) already
Also , save all your Mooncloth until ZG it will boom!

when AQ is released Living Essence and Elemental Earth will quadruple in price. If you do not know why try to figure it out. If you can you have passed today's exam.


And keep farming / buying Dreamfoil. Dreamfoil will always get more and more and more expensive the older the server is. you can never have too much Dreamfoil
